Accessibility statement
Last updated: 6 November 2026
Website last tested: 6 November 2026 (just before launch)
I want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever device, browser or assistive technology you use. It aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard widely used to judge whether a website is accessible.
What you should be able to do
I've built this website so you should be able to:
- zoom in up to 200% without text spilling off the screen
- use the whole site with just a keyboard
- use the site with a screen reader, such as NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver
- change colours, contrast and fonts using your browser or device settings
- fill in and send the contact form without a mouse
How accessible this website is
No known issues were found in testing on 6 November 2026. I tested the finished website just before launch. I'll test it again on the live address after launch and update this page with the results.
Automated tools can't catch everything, and I haven't yet tested the site with a screen reader. If you find something that doesn't work for you, please tell me.
There are no embedded videos, maps or booking widgets on this site. The only third-party content is Cloudflare Turnstile, a spam check on the contact page forms. It runs in the background, so you shouldn't need to do anything. If it ever stops you sending a form, please email me instead.
Tell me about a problem or ask for another format
If something doesn't work for you, or you need information in a different format, please email info@pixelwitchdigital.co.uk. Tell me the page address and what the problem is. I'll reply within 2 working days and, where I can, give you the information another way.
Under the Equality Act 2010, I make reasonable adjustments so that disabled people can use my website and services. If the website gets in your way, tell me and I'll sort it.
How I tested this website
I built this website, so this is my own assessment, not an independent audit. On 6 November 2026 I tested all 10 pages (including the "page not found" page) against WCAG 2.2 AA using:
- automated checks with axe-core, which found no problems on any page
- keyboard-only checks: every link, button and form field can be reached, and the focus outline is always visible
- colour contrast checks for text, buttons and focus outlines
- checks on screen sizes from 320px to 1920px wide, with no sideways scrolling
- checks that buttons and links are big enough to tap, and that nothing on the site moves, flashes or plays automatically
I haven't done a screen-reader check yet. I'll test the live website again after launch.
About this statement
Pixel Witch Digital is a private business, not a public sector body, so the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018 don't apply. I've chosen to publish this statement anyway, because you should know what to expect and how to get help.
My commitment
I re-check accessibility every month and whenever I make significant changes to the site. I'll update this statement when I do.
